SevaChild India

SevaChild India is affiliated with an international alliance of child aid organizations that was created in response to the unbearable tragedy of millions of India's underprivileged children living far below the poverty level.

• An estimated 80 million of the 143 million orphans in the world are in India, this is equivalent to almost 1/3rd the entire population of the US.

Complicating this colossal problem
The majority of India's child aid organizations operate in a vacuum – there is literally no contact between them and the advantages and benefits that would result from association remain untapped.

Heroic efforts by thousands of these independent organizations have not been enough to deal with the increasing enormity of their challenge.

A new approach whose time has come
SevaChild India is a government registered NGO that offers a new and internationally unified approach to addressing this intolerable situation and to supporting child aid organizations nationwide.

Our association provides the platform on which even the smallest child aid organizations can network with the larger and more successful to learn best practices, leverage resources and gain exposure to national and international support for assistance in their monumental task of providing aid to the world's largest population of children at risk.

Call To Action

India and Indians with a long history of love, trust and compassion cannot possibly stand by while millions of its young go uncared for, particularly now when India seeks its rightful place in the community of nations that have set their sights on equitable growth with social justice.

Now through SevaChild India, socially responsible Indians are called forth to contribute generously where they can be assured of the effectiveness of their contributions.

SevaChild India is a global initiative combining the skills and resources of our network of International affiliates with the experience and passion of Indian child aid organizations to address one of the worlds most critical cross-cultural challenges, caring for our impoverished children.
